Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi says he is ‘200 per cent’ assured Kylian Mbappe will stay with the club.
Mbappe has been linked with a move away from the French Ligue 1 giants with some section of the Real Madrid faithful chanting his name during the unveiling of Eden Hazard at the Bernabeu stadium.
But Nasser Al-Khelaifi who played a pivotal role in the transfer of the player in 2017 having initially secured him on a loan deal before signing him permanently for £116million last summer insists the French World Cup winner will remain at the club.
“Will he still be at PSG next year? I am not 100 per cent sure, but 200 per cent!
“I will not let go of this player.”
When asked about the future of Neymar, the prominent football administrator was uncertain if the Brazilian playmaker will stay at the club.
"I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of the jersey and to join the club project.
“Those who do not want, or do not understand, we see each other and we talk to each other.
“There are of course contracts to be respected but the priority now is total membership of our project.
“Nobody forced him to sign here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project.”
