Napoli’s Arkadius Milik enjoyed a blissful Champions League night at the Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday, but suffered a devastating fate later on as he was robbed at gunpoint on his way home.

The striker exhibited good form as Napoli beat Liverpool 1-0, but his excitement was cut shot hours later as he was robbed by two men.

Sky Sports report that Milik was pounced on by two unknown people on a motorcycle, around 2 AM, on the streets of Varacaturo, which is on the outskirts of Giugliano, near Naples.

One of them forced him to stop while the other one pointed a gun to his face and threatened him.

The two unknown people took away the Poland international’s Rolex watch and then sped towards the direction of Licola, an area in the province of Naples.

The Police are investigating the incident which occurred around the same area where the night’s goal scorer, Lorenzo Insigne, was robbed in 2016.
