Karius

Loris Karius’agent, Florian Goll, has described as ‘complete nonsense’ rumors that the on-loan Besiktas goalkeeper is making a fast return to mother-club Liverpool.
Goll tells SID, the German goalkeeper will see through his two-year loan deal once the Turkish giants are willing to keep him.
Reports earlier this week suggested the former Mainz 05 goalkeeper is on his way back to Liverpool as a result of some poor performances for Besiktas
“Complete nonsense,” says Florian in his response to the issue to Goll. “I wonder where such things come from. This news is absolutely untrue.”
Karius misjudged a cross which resulted in a goal on his debut for Besiktas against Bursaspor and was also at fault for the first goal in a 2-0 Europa League defeat to Malmo FF.
He famously gifted Karim Benzema the opening goal in the Champions League final which Liverpool lost 3-1 to Real Madrid.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spent a reported £67 million on Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson as a replacement for Karius before farming him out on loan to Besiktas.
“Loris is on loan to Besiktas for two years- that’s the situation. The club has no intention of ending this loan contract prematurely.
“It’s fact that Loris is the clear number one at Besiktas, he played every game and showed good performances.”
