Inter Milan Prepare

Inter Milan have prepared a £62.8 million bid to sign Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku.

According to a report, the bid is to recruit the player for a two-season long loan as they will also have the option to make his stay permanent.

A report by Sky Sports Italy suggests the Nerazzurri will cough out a two-year loan fee of £9 million up front for the former Everton forward.

Should Inter Milan succeed in their quest for the loan deal, they will be liable to sign the bulky striker for £54 million after his loan spell in Italy.

Seeking to finalise the deal is Lukaku's agent Federico Pastorello, who met with the club’s hierarchy in Italy earlier this week.

After being released from Financial Fair Play (FFP) settlement agreement by UEFA, Inter Milan will be at liberty to recruit players from June 30.

Antonio Conte, Inter’s new manager, has been a fan of the left-footed striker as he tried to sign him during his time at Chelsea in 2017, but Lukaku chose to reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United instead.

Having spent three years at Everton, Lukaku joined Manchester United for an initial fee of £75 million signing a five-year contract and has scored 42 goals in 96 appearances.

Lukaku, who has been regarded as a second fiddle to Marcus Rashford is said to be pushing for a move to the Serie A as he wants to enjoy more first team opportunities.
