Eric Dier Urges More English Youngsters To Move Abroad

Eric Dier has charged young English footballers to follow the example of Jadon Sancho and ply their trade abroad.
According to the Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder, such international exposure will develop both their football talents and thinking.
Sancho has been in sensational form this season by scoring four goals and providing six assists after moving to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City last season.
Jadon's newly-found form has earned him three England caps already.
Another English youngster, 18-year-old Reiss Nelson, has struck six times for Hoffenheim, having joined on loan from Arsenal in the summer.
Dier himself grew up in Portugal and had his development at Sporting Lisbon before moving back to England to join Spurs for £4m in 2014.
"I hope players continue to do what Jadon is doing," Dier told reporters. That is so important for their development. Not just as a footballer but as a man."
"He is out of his comfort zone and is living by himself in a foreign country. Those experiences are important for you to grow as a person."
Dier, 24, will be returning to Portugal, next summer, for the Nations League finals after helping the Three Lions to qualify for the inaugural tournament.
"It will be the first time I will go back and play there since I left and it will be very special," Dier added. It's my home so I am very happy to go back."
