Kingsley Coman Back From Injury

Bayern Munich have been handed an injury boost as midfielder Kingsley Coman has recovered from his ankle injury.

Coman missed 16 games last season after suffering the same injury and missed the 2018 World Cup in Russia for the eventual winners, France.

The wing-forward sustained a foot injury in the Bavarians' opening game of the 2018/19 Bundesliga season against Hoffenheim and has gone on to miss 15 games thus far.

The former Juventus man, for the second consecutive time, went through surgery, and he expressed fear that another injury might end his career.

"I’m very happy to be back on the pitch after a very difficult year. When I hurt myself, for me, it was the end of the world, because I had put my whole life in order for the World Cup."

"If I need a third operation, I don’t think I’ll do it. If I hurt myself again; enough is enough! Maybe my foot isn’t made for the high level and I’ll move on with my life."
