Griezmann Resentful With Barcelona For Leaving Him Hanging

According to speculations in Spain, Antoine Griezmann is furious with some Barcelona players after they undermined a decision  by the club to sign him this summer.

Earlier this month, the French world cup winner disclosed he was departing Atletico Madrid in a video message with Barcelona heavily expected to secure his services this summer.

The Camp Nou dressing room is said to have been angered last summer with regards to his transfer speculations and they felt he disrespected the glorious Blaugrana club.

The French forward chances of joining Barcelona this summer is believed to have been hampered. And players such as Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique are the ones insistent on the club not signing him, according to Reports.

Griezmann's move to Barcelona could now be left hanging – but Manchester United are understood to be next in line and is one of the clubs monitoring his situation if he does not land at the Nou Camp.

Griezmann is left furious with the intrusion of the players and is now awaiting a call from the club signaling their official response.

The club officials at Barcelona are now having doubts over whether to trigger Griezmann's £108m release clause.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to rebuild his United team this summer and Griezmann at the peak of his career would be a perfect fit for United, but their lack of champions league football could serve as a deterrent for the 28-year-old French international.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are understood to have no interest in Griezmann, whilst Manchester City has considered other alternative targets.

Juventus have also been linked but are said to lack the financial power to reach Atletico's and Griezmann's expectations.
