Liverpool Vs Real Madrid, PSG Against Bayern Munich Headline Champions League Round Of 16 Games
There will be a repeat of last season's UEFA Champions League after Liverpool were paired with Real Madrid for the first knockout round of this term's competition.
Teams from the same country and teams who were in the same group are not permitted to meet at this stage of the competition. Group winners cannot also face each other at this point.
The Champions League round of 16 draw has just taken place in Nyon, Switzerland this morning, with Bayern Munich also taking on French champions Paris Saint Germain.
Italian champions AC Milan will come up against Tottenham Hotspurs while Club Brugge will face Benfica.
Europa League holders Eintracht Frankfurt are up against high-flying Napoli, and Inter Milan meet FC Porto.
Chelsea will take on Borussia Dortmund while Manchester City's opponents are RB Leipzig.
Real Madrid are the current holders of the competition after beating Liverpool 1-0 in France in May.
The final for this season's Champions League will be played at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, on June 10, 2023.
