Marcus Rashord is back among the headlines after he grabbed the late strike in Manchester United’s 2-1 win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

After enduring a topsy-turvy start to the season with lack of goals, the 21-year-old displayed a lot of composure to score two minutes into injury time in what represents his second goal of the eleven-game-old Premier League season.

The win puts the Red Devils at pal with Bournemouth on 20 points, though still 8th on the league table and two spaces behind Eddie Howe’s Cherries.

Jose Mourinho’s men enjoyed the majority of the ball possession throughout the game, but fell down early on the scorecards as Callum Wilson fed on Junior Stanislas’ pass, inside the penalty area, to rifle a shot into the bottom right corner in the 11th minute.

Anthony Martial canceled the lead in the 35th minute by showing off his superb ability as he volleyed the ball from inside the box into the right side of the target.

Asmir Begovic denied Luke Shaw’s decent strike in the 55 minutes, five minutes before the goalkeeper thwarted Alexis Sanchez’s promising header from close range.

Ashley Young’s 64th-minute mid-range free-kick crashed against the crossbar, and Marcus Rashford’s shot from the rebound was blocked to a corner kick which was wasted.

Ander Herrera volleyed the ball on the edge of the box after a rebound, but the efforts flew just wide of the left post despite Asmir Begovic scrambling.

Asmir Begovic would get a well-deserved ovation in the 89th minute when he produced yet another nice goalkeeping skills to keep out Jesse Lingard’s decent first-time strike towards the bottom right corner.

The game seemed destined to end in a draw, but Marcus Rashford had other ideas as he combined with Paul Pogba to win it for the visitors in injury time.

Paul Pogba played a terrific cross over to Marcus Rashford, who found some space inside the box and puts the ball into the back of the net.
