Paul Pogba’s elder brother, Florentin Pogba, has revealed that the Manchester United midfielder will only join one of the Spanish giants, Real Madrid or Barcelona if he were to leave the Old Trafford outfit.

The world cup winner’s future at Manchester United came under intense scrutiny during the latter months of Jose Mourinho’s reign as Manchester United manager as he found himself on the fringes of the first team.

Paul Pogba has, however, turned things around since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over at the Old Trafford dugout, helping United to eight successive victories in all competitions, and scoring five times in as many games.

Florentin Pogba, a 21-time capped Guinean international, believes Paul, who has previously been linked with moves to Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid, will only move to Spain if the need for a possible transfer arises.

"We like tiki-taka. Whenever I can, I watch their games [on television] or go to the Camp Nou," he told AS when asked about the Pogba brothers' admiration for Barca's style.

"When my brother leaves Manchester United, there are only three clubs he can go to improve: [Manchester] City, Real Madrid or Barca. He's not going to go to City, so he'll come to Spain: to Barca or Madrid."

"When he was at Juventus, he could have gone to Barcelona, but he was determined to return to Manchester United, where it hadn't worked out for him the first time around. There was also movement [over a transfer to Madrid] when [Zinedine] Zidane was in charge, but he had his heart set on going back to England."
