De Ligt Completes Medical At Juventus

Departing Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, has completed his medical at Juventus ahead of his €70 million transfer to the Turin outfit.
De Ligt completed his medical at the J Medical facilities on Wednesday.
De Ligt in last season’s Champions League semi-final game against Juventus played a key role to eliminate the Old Lady from the competition, a fixture he registered his name on the scoresheet.
Having been eliminated from the Champions League in the quarter-final last term by Ajax, Juventus will now garnish their squad to compete for European glory next season, a feat they will want to claim for the first time in 23 years.
After the sacking of Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus replaced him with former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri whose arrival has witnessed the signings of PSG’s Adrien Rabiot and De Ligt from Ajax.
And Juventus whose formidable defence of Giorgio Chiellini, 34 and Leonardo Bonnuci, 32 nearing retirement, De Ligt's arrival in Turin would be a boost for the side.
Having played a pivotal role in Ajax's run to the Eredivisie title De Ligt recorded three goals in thirty-three league games with one assist and three goals in the Champions League.
