Bayern Set To Sign Ramsey
By Joshua Walters
Bayern Munich are set to sign Aaron Ramsey as a free agent from English side Arsenal, according to the Independent.
The German giants have won the race ahead of fellow European giants Liverpool and Chelsea, who were also said to be interested in the signature of the Wales offensive midfielder.
Ramsey's contract with Arsenal expires next summer, and the player is said to have said 'yes' to the Bavarians as the length of time left on his current deal permits him to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club.
Ramsey, who has been at the Emirates for ten years, has seen his Arsenal stay to come in huge doubts, following reports that he has been told by manager Unai Emery he was surplus to requirement.
Ramsey has been struggling for first-team place in the team this season but has managed to score one goal in six games with four assists so far in the 2018/19 Premier League.
Bayern Munich have been in poor shape in the Bundesliga, and look set to strengthen their squad with Ramsey's inclusion, having fallen to eternal rivals, Borrusia Dortmund, to drop to fifth on the league log.
