La Liga teams have started training as it has been reported that the Spanish season is slated to resume on June 11.

Los Blancos just like all other teams in Europe, have not been in action since early March due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Frenchman has revealed his team-mates are improving every day and insists they cannot wait to be back.

Real Madrid sit second on the La Liga table, two points behind bitterest rivals Barcelona. The 27-year-old has issued a warning to the Catalans saying Zinedine Zidane’s men are coming to overturn the deficit.

"We're looking forward to competing," the 2018 World Cup winner told Real Madrid TV.

"This work is our nature and we always want to compete. We've not played football for a long time, so we are very eager and want to win everything as always.”

"We're getting better and better every day. We work hard on our physical side and we're getting back to a good feeling and improving on a tactical level. Above all, we are getting back to our best."

Varane has also revealed Real Madrid are training constantly to get match fitness after a longtime indoors.

He added: “We have to work a lot on the physical level to get a better feeling for the ball and little by little get back into the swing of things on the tactical level and in terms of mobility on the pitch so that we can be good and compete when we can be together.”
