United Fan Raising

United Fan Raising

By Nigel Phillips

A disgruntled Manchester United fan is pushing for the sack of Jose Mourinho, and to achieve this, the man has opened a fund to raise the money needed to pay off the Portuguese trainer.

Mourinho's contract with Man United expires in 2020. There are reports that the club desires to sack him, but is laying back because of a £12 million compensation clause.

The fan, who has been left frustrated by the current negative trend of events at Man United, has opened a page named, Go-Fund-Me, where he is soliciting for funds to back the club to pay off Mourinho.

"I am rapidly entering a depression, and it's all about one man, Mr. Jose Mario Dos Santos Mourinho Felix", the fan wrote on the page. "Let's raise the funds necessary to get him sacked so all United fans can feel true happiness one more time."

United had a torrid pre-season this summer. They played 6 games, won just one in regulation time, won one on penalties, drew twice and lost as many games.

The ‘Red Devils' have won one and lost one in their opening two games of the season, and there are fears the club could be in for a difficult season following Mourinho's prediction to that effect after the club failed to land his targeted players in the summer transfer window.
