Ramos Leaves Spain Camp Due To Groin Injury

Sergio Ramos has left the Spanish national team camp after picking up a groin injury in Wednesday's 3-2 defeat to Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.

The Spanish defender scored with a 78th-minute spot-kick as La Furia Roja rallied from behind to draw parity on two occasions before Tin Jedvaj grabbed the winner for The Blazers in injury time.

The Spain captain sustained a groin injury in the game, but lasted the full ninety minutes, and has returned to his club, Real Madrid, on Friday for treatment.

It is feared that the player could be on the sidelines for weeks, and the development rules him out of Spain's friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ramos' injury is suspected to be an aggravation of wound as AS reports that the rugged centre-back picked up the injury before the UEFA Nations League tie but played through the pain
