Man City Recall Muric From Breda Loan

By Joshua Walters

Manchester City have recalled nineteen-year-old goalkeeper, Arijanet Muric, from his loan spell at Dutch side NAC Breda.

Having already seen Kevin De Bruyne ruled out for 3 months with a knee injury, City suffered another blow on Tuesday as the defending champions' second choice goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, ruptured his Achilles tendon in training.

The injury is likely to keep the Chilean shots-stopper out of action for several months, and ‘The Citizens' reacted by recalling Muric who joined Breda on a season-long deal three weeks ago.

The situation left Pep Guardiola's side with 20-year-old academy graduate and third choice goalkeeper, Daniel Grimshaw, as the only cover-up for first choice, Ederson Moraes, as City have sold Angus Gunn and Joe Hart to Southampton and Burnley respectively this summer.
