Kepa Disrespects Sarri As He Refuses To Be Substituted

Chelsea were in action with Manchester City in the EFL Cup final on Sunday, but the show was stolen by the club’s manager and his goalkeeper misunderstanding.

The game witnessed a squabble between the Spanish goalkeeper and the manager as the latter decided to replace the shot-stopper upon an information given him by the club’s medical team which the former denied being replaced in the game.

The game was tense as both sides created chances, but neither failed to break the deadlock as it witnessed an extra time of play where the drama of the game was displayed by the manager and his goalkeeper before the game was decieded by the penalty shoot-out.

Kepa in the game got injured in the second half of the extra time with the medical team signaling the bench to replace him as they thought the extend of the injury gives him no chance to continue the game, but the former Bilbao man squashed the decision from the bench.

 Maurizio Sarri got furious with the goalkeeper for disrespecting his orders as the head coach of the club which many pundits think the goalkeeper should have accepted the rule of the game to be substituted.

Sarri who launched a plastic bottle to the ground as he showed emotions of his anger per the reaction of his goalkeeper nearly quit witnessing the match from the touchline as he walked straight to the Wembley exist but suddenly returned to the dugout.

Kepa, who refused to be replaced by Willy Caballero made himself the talking point at the start of the penalty shoot-out with his blunder allowing Sergio Augero’s spot-kick to sneak through his arms, but later gained the bragging rights and reasons why he opted to be on the field after his great reflex to deny Leroy Sane form scoring before David Luiz made his saved fruitless as his spot-kick hit the right post.
