James Rodriguez Wants Bayern Munich Stay

Bayern Munich wing-forward, James Rodriguez, says he does not want to leave the club at the end of this season.

The 27-year-old Colombian has completed the first year of his two-year loan spell from Real Madrid and will see his deal expire at the end of the 2018/19 season.

Rodriquez was beneficial to the German Champions in his first season in the Bundesliga, scoring 10 goals in thirty games.

He has been encouraging for the side this term, having returned from an injury layoff to score three goals in eight matches.

Rodriguez has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena with a return to parent club, Real Madrid, said to be on the cards, but the player has revealed his desire to stay with Bayern Munich.

“I’d like to stay because I feel the love of the fans,” Rodriguez said as cited by SportsBlid, “That’s true here in Munich, and actually the entire Bayern family. I feel very good right now. I want to be fully match fit in one to two weeks."

"Our coach is young and has good footballing skills. He certainly has a bright future,” James concluded.
