Ibrahimovic Compares Himself With Mourinho

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has likened his character to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho’s and says people are man-hunting them because they are not hypocrites.

The former Manchester United player, who currently plays for LA Galaxy, tells Sky Sports the reason is not that of the results on the field of play but because they do not kowtow to people’s views.

“Everybody criticises Mourinho and I don’t think it’s because of the results, it’s because of the character, because of the way he is.”

“I see myself also a little bit in that situation, we have our confidence, we believe in things, we say certain things in our own way.”

Ibrahimovic stresses that Mourinho would always stand for what he believes, regardless the difficulties he is facing at the club this season.

“Mourinho just has to keep being himself, stand up for what he is doing and what he is."

“He is there because he did it his own way because he is who he is and doesn’t change for anybody."

“I am exactly the same, I don’t change for anybody. Everyone out there who thinks they are perfect, they are the biggest problem out there."
