De Bruyne Not Bothered By Liverpool Pressure

Manchester City's midfielder Kevin De Bruyne acknowledges Liverpool's Premier League title winning credentials but says he is not worried by their threat.

Pep Guardiola's Citizens reclaimed the top spot from Liverpool with a 3-1 win over Everton on Saturday, but saw Jurgen Klopps' side take back the spot on Sunday after beating Manchester United 3-1 at Anfield.

The Citizens led the table marginally until they dropped behind Liverpool following a 2-0 loss to Chelsea on match day-16.

De Bruyne in an interview with Manchester City's official website says the season is too young to decide a winner.

"I don't know why they can't sustain it [a title charge], " De Bruyne told Manchester City's official website. "I think they will go on to the end."

"To be fair, I'm not too worried about them - they will do what they do and we'll have to try to win our games and go forward."

"They'll try to keep pace with us and vice versa. But it's still early. There's no pressure. We need to do what we do."

"There is still a long way to go. The amount of games can trip you up, injuries can trip you up."
