Chelsea To Face Two-Year Transfer ban.

Chelsea could face a two-year transfer ban from FIFA after an alleged breaching of the world football governing body's transfer policy.

The London club has, for the past three years, been under investigation by FIFA for the signings of some under 18 players including Bertrand Traore.

French sports news outlet, Mediapart, has published alleged portions of FIFA's findings and claims that the Blues have been slapped with a £45,000 fine and a transfer ban that spans four transfer windows.

According to Mediapart's supposed leaked report, Chelsea signed a professional contract with the Burkinabe offensive player in September 2013 before the latter turned 18 years.

The Stamford Bridge outfit, per Mediapart, breached another FIFA regulation by including the player in their squad in January 2014.

Mediapart claims that Chelsea admitted to FIFA that they paid the player £155,000 in April 2011 and also paid £13,000 to parent club, AJE Bobo-Dioulasso, in negotiations which were chaired by the lad's mother.

Chelsea have however responded to Mediapart's allegations and claimed innocence in a rebuttal published on the club's website on Wednesday.

"The club has fully co-operated with FIFA and has provided comprehensive evidence demonstrating its compliance with FIFA regulations. We will not comment further."
