Tottenham Hotspurs boss, Mauricio Pochettino, has reportedly rejected Real Madrid’s latest contract offer, according to The Sun.

Real Madrid are in search of a new manager, following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui last month after their 5-1 mauling by arch-rivals Barcelona in the El Clasico.

Pochettino, who is said to be the club’s top target, has reportedly rejected a couple of offers already, and the British tabloid has reported that Argentine trainer has turned down an astonishing £15million improved deal from the club.

The development comes as a major boost to Tottenham Hotspurs, who are not doing badly in the Premier League, where they lie 4th on the log with 24 points.

Spurs’ major setback so far this season has been with injuries and the Champions League campaign.

Pochettino's side has five first-team players on the sidelines, is third in Group-B with four points, and could make the knockout stages of the competition only by avoiding further slips in the two remaining games.
