Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard, expects the battle for the Premier League top-four finish to go down to the wire, saying that it 'is going to be a good race to the end.'

Hazard’s late strike salvaged a point for Chelsea in a 1-1 draw with Wolves at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, after Arsenal defeated top-four hopefuls Manchester United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

With Manchester City and Liverpool going neck to neck in the race for the Premier League title, the remaining two slots have been blown open with Tottenham Hotspurs, Arsenal and Manchester United all in contention.

Tottenham, who lost at Southampton on Saturday, have 61 points, Arsenal have 60, Manchester United are on 58 points while Chelsea boost of 57.

“It’s a good battle. Man City and Liverpool are far away, then there are four teams who want to be in the top four, Hazard told Chelsea TV.

“It’s going to be a good race to the end. We have nine games to play now. We have to give everything.”

Chelsea travels to Everton on Sunday, after Thursday's Europa League round of 16 second leg tie at Dynamo Kiev as they hold a 3-0 first-leg advantage.

The Blues lost at Wolves in December and Hazard had blended sentiments following his late intercession which rescued a draw.

“We lost away three months ago. The game was exactly the same. We created a couple of chances, but not enough, the Belgian national team captain added.

“The good point is we gave everything until the end and we scored a goal. A bit of happiness, even if we are a bit sad.

Eden Hazard recorded his thirteenth Premier League goal of the season against Wolves on Sunday.

“I like to score and then we win the game. I scored, we drew. It’s a bit disappointing.

“We need to keep going. We have a tough game on Thursday and then on Sunday.

“Let’s move forward, back in training, work together and try to win games."
