Injured Higuain Out Of Betis Clash

Gonzalo Higuain will not be part of AC Milan’s traveling party when the Rossoneri fly to Spain for Thursday's clash against Real Betis.
The Argentine striker has been ruled out of the Europa League's match day-four clash as a result of a hip injury.
The Argentine striker has been battling with the injury for weeks now and was replaced early in the Rossoneri’s 1-0 victory at Udinese last weekend.
The seven-time European Champions are second in the Group-F with six points, a point behind leaders Real Betis, who beat Milan 2-1 at the San Siro in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago.
Milan’s next Serie A game is on Sunday against Higuain’s former club, Juventus, and manager Gennaro Gattuso, with an eye on that game, is unwilling to risk his first choice striker at Betis on Thursday.
Higuain has scored two goals for AC Milan in the continent’s second-tier inter-club competition and five goals in the domestic league.
